Wireless Magnetic Tracking and Imaging

Description (currently not funded)

We develop Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) magnetic sensing methods for wireless tracking and imaging medical robotic system during minimally invasive medical operations. Your task will be designing new magnetic sensor systems and developing tracking and image reconstruction methods.

Successful applicants will work on interdisciplinary research projects spanning various exciting fields, including:

  • Magnetism
  • NMR Physics
  • RF hardware design
  • State estimation
  • Medical image reconstruction

Education & Experience

Applicant should

  • have background in Electrical Engineering , Biomedical Engineering , or Physics
  • have high motivation
  • have good oral and written communication skills in English.
  • be able to work on-site at METU Ankara

Applicant should have experience/knowledge in following areas:

  • Analog design
  • Embedded system programming
  • Programming (C++
  • Python
  • ROS)
  • RF circuit design (optional)
